Aston Martin revealed the first image of its future standard bearer last week. The One-77 coupe is the legendary British manufacturer's first creation since it was sold to a group of investors lead by Prodrive's Dave Richards. The One-77 concept is the most extreme Aston Martin ever designed.
The car's main features speak for themselves: the chassis is carbon fibre and the aluminum body panels are hand-made. A 7-litre V12 engine will be powering this extreme machine.
Aston Martin has revealed very few technical details at the moment. However, the snapshot they've presented is very clear and displays virtually the entire car, which sports traditional Aston Martin design elements: the long, plunging hood, the cropped rear, the passenger compartment perched on the rear axle and the shape of the windows behind the doors.
This Aston Martin is true to the brand's tradition, but this time, production will be limited to a very few copies. And its price tag obviously lives up to this exlusivity: over 1 million Sterling pounds or over 2 million Canadian dollars.
